License

Move your license to another Mac

A StompLink license is active on one Mac at a time. Moving it takes about a minute.

1. Deactivate on your old Mac

  1. Click the StompLink icon in the menu bar and open Settings.
  2. Go to License and choose Deactivate This Mac.
  3. Make sure you’re online — deactivation needs to reach our license server.

2. Activate on your new Mac

  1. Install StompLink and open it from the menu bar.
  2. Enter your license key (it looks like SL-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and choose Activate.

Old Mac lost, broken or already wiped?

No problem. Email support with your license key and we’ll release it so you can activate on your new Mac.

Good to know. Uninstalling StompLink doesn’t deactivate it automatically, so deactivate first if you can. Reinstalling macOS or StompLink on the same Mac keeps the same identity, so you can simply activate again.
